Why should a reader choose Regenesis?
While climate fiction seems to be having a moment, much of the genre focuses on how humans will survive the coming crises. While human concerns are important (to us), The Fallowing offers a different vision of a possible future. In the Fallowing, humanity has left the planet to let it heal from our economic abuses. Regenesis focuses on the mind and world of a nonhuman animal, addressing his concerns from his own point of view. Hopefully Regenesis offers a unique take on what it means to be a good human steward of the planet-and perhaps more importantly, that our work to heal our world might best be assisted by the four-footed beings who not only walk in our steps but who preceded us.
