The main part of my task has been to shew what have been the worthiest answers given by the Hindus to the great questions of man's relation to God and to fellow-man. These answers have been many. Some are from learned schoolmen, like Sankara and Ramanuja others are from simple laymen, like Vémana. But all of them are utterances of the vital faith of millions. We dare not ignore them.
