Raven Nighthunter, telempath, healer, and warrior, is in the service of the Powers. She has recently been supplied with a husband, Colonel Jorden Madwolf. He and his three companions have swelled her team from three to seven. Respect and affection notwithstanding, there's a head-on collision of cultures between the humans and Raven and her alien comrades that make her feel like pulling out handfuls of her body fur.
