This book is my first lasting entry to the fight. AUTHOR MALCOLM SHABAZZ HOOVER... is a Bay Area Native circa 1970. Raised between Philadelphia and The Bay. He started writing poetry, fiction and video games at the age of 12, and studied writing under Linda Goss, Toni Bambara, Sonia Sanchez and bell hooks. Malcolm is the product of an activist family, and is the father to a 21-year-old son, Aaron and a 10-year-old daughter, Laila.
