Marvellous things did he in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. He made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. He led them on safely, so that they feared not." The two great nations arc not to he found on the page of history, between whom so many points of near resemblance can be traced in relation to their origin, and the remarkable interpositions of Providence in their preservation and progress, as between Israel of old and New England.
