The statistics for tuberculosis are Very interesting. They show that within the Short period of three years the death rate from tuberculosis in the Company's experience dropped from per hundred thousand to per hundred thousand, or a reduction in the rate of per cent. These figures supplement those for the Registration Area for the years 1901 to 1911, which Show a rate in 1911, 83 per cent. Of that in 1901. All of this indicates that the campaign of education which has been carried on for over a decade is bearing and has borne fruit.
