This the reader is requested to constantly bear in mind. With much volunteer labor, however, we have been able to bring together, in this report such data as we believe will be of service to those who in the future shall investigate special prob lems relating to the geology of Louisiana. This remark applies more particularly to Section I and portions of Section II. They show what has already been accomplished, by whom, and where.
