Christians, when they have been true servants of the crucified jesus, have always been hated by the world. He Himself says, If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you, because you are not of the world, therefore the world hateth you. If, therefore, the world hate us not, it is because we are not Opposed to it, but are of it.
