The author decided to break her memoir into two books. "About a Life" is the second part of her life as a traveller, wife, mother, business person and so much more. She learns to take control of what she wants out of life. Travel, as in her first book, is a big part of this memoir. This book encourages travel with children. Two expressions, "running to the future, " and "finding your feet, " fully describe her journey.
