Baby sea lion Ariana lives at Pier 39 with her parents. One day, her mother tells her that their family is moving to Oregon to care for Ariana's grandfather. This news makes little Ariana very upset, however, she realizes that as long as she is with her family, life will always be an adventure. This story tracks the real-life departure of sea lions from San Francisco to Oregon in 2009 and was written to help children conquer their fears of moving.
