D. 1849Such apparently is the uniform condition of the dead but such, really, their condition is not. There is a differ. Ence here a difference as great as that between noon and midnight, life and death, heaven and hell. There are two classes in this great congregation of sleepers, and but two. There is a line of separation between them a line by us unseen, but which is, in fact, the boundary line between two states of which the one is, in almost all respects, pre cisely the Opposite of the other. To die is not the All of death: and though all alike die, all do not die alike.
