Beau Dick: Devoured by Consumerism
Angebote / Angebote:
IMPORTANT ARTIST: The late Beau Dick is widely regarded as one of the most important indigenous artists in the Pacific Northwest. He is known in particular for his carving of masks, figures and totems. In addition to his artistic importance he was a leading activist in the fight for justice for indigenous peoples and was a powerful critic of European colonialism and capitalism in North America.
U.S. EXHIBITION: The collection of art presented in this book will be on display at White Columns Gallery in April - May 2019 (91 Horatio Street, New York City, near the Whitney).
BEAUTIFUL PACKAGE: Beau Dick: Devoured by Consumerism will be a stunningly designed, contemporary work from one of the country's leading book designers
STRONG DEMAND: The most recent book on the artist has nearly sold through its 2, 000 copy print run. We expect this title to sell at least as well given the attention Beau Dick has received since his death in 2017.
