Bildungsangebote, mit denen Geringqualifizierte das Lernen wieder lernen und gleichzeitig den Übergang in den Beruf bewältigen, sind ein zentrales Thema dieses Sammelbandes. Nach einer Einführung in die Lebenssituation und Potenziale An- und Ungelernter stellen die Autor:innen in ihren Beiträgen Modellprojekte vor, in denen Grundbildung mit berufsfachlicher Ausbildung kombiniert wird. Der zweite Themenstrang befasst sich mit der Validierung nonformal oder informell erworbener beruflicher Kompetenzen. Durch neue Konzepte und Bewertungskriterien soll der berufliche Einstieg von der Bindung an formal erworbene und zertifizierte Bildungsabschlüsse entkoppelt werden. Educational offerings where semi-skilled persons relearn how to study and, at the same time, manage the transition to work, are a central topic of this anthology. Following an introduction into the life situation and potential of semi-skilled and unskilled workers, the authors present model projects in their contributions, in which basic education is combined with vocational training. The second thread is concerned with validation of non-formally or informally acquired vocational skills. The aim is the use of new concepts and assessment criteria to break the association between entry into the world of work and formally acquired and certified educational qualifications.
