Angebote / Angebote:

Bigotry and the Afrocentric "Jazz" Evolution examines African-American music within the context of its socio-cultural history and environment, highlighting and clarifying the most important aspects of this evolution. The voyage begins with traditional African music and extends just beyond the end of the twentieth century. In addition to serving as a resource for students of all ages, the text establishes a timeline and a historical outline. It raises a variety of questions that future musicians and scholars can respond to both creatively and academically. This resource is paired with/includes a CD-ROM Encyclopedia of Music, Musicians, and Recordings, which includes: .Traditional African and African-American music .The context from which African-American music emerged .Innovators in this area who emerged from the 1900's to 2000 Karlton E.
