Black Metal Rainbows
Angebote / Angebote:
Black Metal Rainbows demonstrates that there is far more to black metal than its reactionary stereotypes. It illustrates the huge internal variety within the global black metal scene and explores its plentiful crossovers with attendant genres such as industrial, ambient, and electronica. Within black metal there is queerness, flamboyance, inclusivity, and antifascism in abundance.
This book features musicians' texts and self-reflections on their own music and practice.
Book launches, including a gallery of artwork included in the book, are being planned for New York (Saint Vitus & Basilica Soundscape), Dublin (Gallery X), Montreal (venue to be determined), and Toronto (Tuning Speculation Conference).
This book can be used in academic environments as a resource in the context of programs in arts and music studies / theory that require focus on extreme music.
