Body of Work is a bold and sensual photography series depicting poetry fragments written on the author's body, reflecting a desire to infuse the written word with living, visual components. The poems featured in Body of Work can all be found in Gili Estlin Hirsch and Alex Ogden's illustrated poetry book, Anna, also published by Fox & Owl Press. Body of Work is a companion project to Anna, and shows how a collection of poetry can be redesigned, reorganized, and re-presented in a visually innovative way that takes words off the shelf and gives them new life in our minds and on our bodies.
