Alex Woodward and Clay McCamish, two partners in law from New Haven, Connecticut, find themselves in a volatile disagreement which leads them on a disastrous course. An evil force compromises their friendship, leaving Alex feeling betrayed while Clay and his bride, Cali, set sail for The Bahamas. About the AuthorRuth Anne Greene was reared in the South, graduating with honors from a school located on the foot of Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Ruth excelled in academics and had many attributes: piano, singing, drama, varsity basketball, bowling, softball, cheerleading, editor and publisher of her school paper, and president of the Beta Club. After high school, Ruth earned a degree in accounting and went on to work in the private industry and as a civil service employee with the government, later affiliating with a law enforcement agency. As an adult, Ruth lived on both the East Coast and the West Coast. Being exposed to different cultures and lifestyles was the inspiration for writer her murder mystery, Caught in the Maze. Pulmonary artery hypertension, lung cancer, and congestive heart failure may have taken over her life, but illness never prevented Ruth from continuing to help others or enjoying life until her last breath.
