Charles Moore was a great and successful man. I wish I had an opportunity to talk to my dad about him, sharing my discoveries. Like my dad, he was humble. He did not like to talk about his accomplishments. Like my dad, he was very generous with his time and money. My aunt Corinne called him "Fan Daddy." I recall my dad expressing the same. He was very important in establishing the foundation for the state of California.
