Kollontai's most potentially popular works have not been collected in one volume before Kollontai is having a revival - artist Doris Garcia has been exploring her legacy in her artwork and a series of films, an anthology called Red Love brought together a range of artists, writers, scholars and activists to consider her importance, Jodi Dean discusses her in Comrade: An Essay on Political Belonging, Kristen Ghodsee discusses her in Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism. Socialism is also enjoying a revival, with young people joining groups like Democratic Socialists of America in large numbers, as well as leftist feminist groups like National Women's Liberation and communist groups like Young Communist League. Kollontai has been popular in socialist feminist reading groups and socialist political education sessions. (Liza Featherstone is a member of DSA.) A version of Featherstone's introduction to this volume was published in Lux, a millenial socialist feminist magazine. Liza Featherstone has also written popular articles discussing Kollontai for Jacobin and The New Republic.
