Excerpt from Contributions to the Knowledge of Tumors of the JawsAccording to our nomenclature, we will dwell upon combinations such as myxo, fibre, and osteo-myeloma, and at last consider the two purely malignant forms, -viz., globo and spindle myeloma. Either of these forms may arise primarily from the periosteum or medulla of the jaw-bones, or start in the nasal cavity, the antrum of High more, or the soft palate, and invade the upper jaw in a secondary manner.
