There are exciting new developments in Schlossburg. Grafin Mathilda's nephew, Dietrich is joining Gerhard Handler's firm as a junior partner and the Grafin, excited by the possibilities in the union, is inspired to invest heavily in the company herself. She has reservations however. Dietrich's marriage to his beautiful wife Katrina is faltering through his neglect of her. It is intolerable to Grafin Mathilda that the proposed new business partnership should be endangered by Dietrich's marital problems and thus she decides to act. Fortunately, Grafin Mathilda knows just the way to rekindle the spark in her nephew's marriage. She determines to institute the same regime of domestic discipline into Dietrich's marriage as that already in place in Gerhard's household. Thus both couples are invited around to the castle ostensibly to discuss the new business arrangements. In reality there is a darker purpose. Dietrich and Katrina, with the aid by example of Gerhard and Elke, are to be initiated into the application of corporal punishment. This, the newest episode from South Germany, is the most shocking yet. Not only will the reader join Elke and Katrina as they are soundly thrashed but also many of the other female characters, sometimes more than once. Gerhard's mother in law will once again find herself with her knickers down for a caning, Grafin Mathilda's beautiful protégé, Frieda will face a sound whipping at the castle and even one of the Grafin's maids will feel the birch over her errant backside to complete another delightful tale of pain and humiliation from Schlossburg.
