Drafted is a coming of age comedy about Eli J. Jones, a college student, who is illegally drafted, and thrown into the U.S. Army during the life-threatening era of Vietnam. Despite his mantra of "I'm not supposed to be here, " Eli quickly adapts, making many new friends -- Harry, Tex, Steve, the Professor, ex-football star, Sam, and the lovely Nurse Sara. They help Eli cope with the insane Colonel Clark, and defeat Sergeant, "Must kill Eli" Worlinski. Eli's adventures continue through AIT and infantry officer candidate school, where he overcomes "Mad Dog" Drummond, nude fire drills, a million push-ups, Miss Tiger Tactics - a snake-charming stripper, brass pickers, and being buried alive. After a brief, but fulfilling, romp with three stewardesses in Seattle, Eli finds himself in steamy Da Nang. Will his charm, and the help of the seven dwarfs, let Eli survive combat and an appearance on Bob Hope's Christmas show? Will the 1968 Tet offensive cancel his program on Armed Forces Radio in Saigon? Don't miss the exciting conclusion as Eli fights for his freedom and the right to go home.
