I think that of would-be epigramatic, alliterative, or simply clap-trap titles to books, we have had, of late years, satiety. Am I, in calling my volume Dutch Pictures, adding but one more taking title to the list? Can Dutch Pictures have any more real meaning or significance than Sand and Shells.
