Sheriff Miller seriously shot through hip by Indians, and member of his posse, Falkenburg, killed. Three Indians killed. Indians reported by Putnam, county clerk Weston County, Wyo., to be Pine Ridge. News paper men here received information later saying Indians were Crows. Balance of party of Indians at large in Wyoming supposed to be headed eastward toward Craw ford, Nebr. Suggest you reach them through agents or military channels and deliver 'them to proper authorities. Kindly advise me whether you have earlier or fuller information concerning matter.
