(renewed applause.) The expenditures were also within the estimate in nearly every item. In the Comparative Table given at the end of the Public Accounts, showing the increase or decrease over the amount appropriated by the House, I would draw the honourable 'gentlemen's attention to the fact that it differs from Statement No. I in that the\capital' cost of the Trans mission Line at N iagara is included among the Miscellaneous expenditures.
