She graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison program and also has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University. Her hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, acting goofy, uncoordinated dancing, singing random tunes, and pursing adventures inspired by her wild imagination. She's explored England, Wales, the Caribbean, French Polynesia, Canada, Mexico, Egypt, and Jordan, with extended stays in France and Israel where she lived on a kibbutz.
