The English, who represent the People of Fashion, dwell at the Polite end of the Town near the Fort where His Excellency resides. Their Houses are built after our own Models with Gardens often slop ing to the Waterside. Queen Street, too, has some fine Mansions and Broad as well. These People have their country-seats in the Villages beyond the Town and along the High-road to Boston, great Estates lying in the midst of innumerable Acres. 'tis a rich Country and a pretty.
