The Gospel of Grace According to Paul the Apostle to the Church in the Twenty First Century investigates the apostle's claims that: Law and Grace cannot coexist. The Law cannot make one a Christian, and it cannot make one a "better Christian." The law kills and excludes one from God. Only through Grace can one be saved, and only in Grace can one live and be everything that he or she has been called by God to be. Should one claiming to belong to Christ (the "Christian" claim) actually attempt to fulfill the Law that has already been fulfilled in Christ? What is the point of attempting to follow the Law when it is a reflection of God's nature? Can one honestly expect to please God by attempting this? Join the investigation of the doctrine that the First Century church, as well as the Protestant Reformation itself, rests on. Michael (Mike) holds an MTh in Theology, an Honorary D.D. (for his work in Pauline Theology), and he is presently a PhD in Theology Candidate. He is the Minister-In-Charge of Christian Friends Ministry, Associate Pastor of Solid Rock United Methodist Church, and Dean of Solid Rock School of Theology. He has written thirteen commentaries on biblical books and two books of Scriptural Devotions. He writes weekly devotions for Solid Rock's Internet Outreach that presently reaches thousands of people worldwide. His vision is to reach the Un-churched, and to un-church the Churched. Mike lives "in the woods" outside of Carthage, N.C. with his wife Joyce, their three children, Michael, Mason, and Erika, their dog Bart, their cat "Quit", and their two motorcycles.
