Die Berufsbildungsforschung hat sich im letzten Jahrzehnt internationalisiert. Das zeigt sich auch in den Beiträgen zur dritten Auflage des Handbuchs Berufsbildungsforschung. This can be seen in the contributions to the third edition of the Handbook of Vocational Education Research (Handbuch Berufsbildungsforschung). The authors document the status quo in all areas as well as current research projects and methods and provide information about the transfer of findings to practice and policy. Among other newly added chapters was a chapter on the genesis of vocational education research. The handbook provides a wealth of up-to-date knowledge for the planning and implementation of research and development projects, model trials and pilot projects.
