Thank you, Mr. Chairman, and, gentlemen, thank you for your testimony.Before I begin, I just wanted to mention to General Blum and General Love how proud we are of the guard and reserve and the job that they are doing, and we recognize that they are an integral part of our Nation's defense. In particular, I had the privilege Of traveling myself to Iraq and had the Opportunity to meet with our Rhode Island National Guard soldiers who are on duty there for the 115 Military Police (mp) battalion and doing an outstanding job.
