But, hav ing once begun, one thing naturally suggested another, or one discovery made way for another, till the work assumed such a bulk as utterly precludes me, in my present state of health, from resuming the task of transcribing it. What by head-achs, and other complaints peculiar to a bi lious habit, it was even with great difficulty that what now appears was even once written over, so that it must necessarily appear under many disadvantages, though plainness and perspecuity have been aimed at through the whole.
