The author pre fers the term ectopic pregnancy, designed originally by Dr. Robert Barnes, to extra-uterine pregnancy, the expression usually employed in this country. He agrees with Jonathan Hutchinson in condemning tapping, because Of its dangers, and he still more emphatically denounces destruction Of the fetus by electricity instead of resorting to abdominal section, and in that connection deals rather harshly with Dr. A.
