Excerpt from Keweenaw: A Story From the North WoodsKeweenaw was written by Dr. Cray on one of his first fishing trips in the North and appeared in The Interior August 1885 as a part of his Editorial Corres pondence which was sent to the paper weekly while on his vacations and event ually took definite form in the Camp F ire Musings of Island Lake.
