Excerpt from Kritik des Bewusstseins: Eine Vorschule zu Hegel's Wissenschaft der Logik Georg Andreas Gabler, einer der ersten Schüler Hegels, dessen Wirksamkeit der Meister auch noch erlebt hat, wurde am 30 Juli 1786 in Altdorf geboren und hat 1804 1807 in Jena Philosophie und Rechtswissenschaft studieit, er ist dort ein eifriger Zuhörer Hegels gewesen und hat unter Anderem im Win ter 1805 1806 mit grosser Befriedigung an einem collegium hegelianum über reine Mathematik teilgenommen. Seit 1811 Gymnasiallehrer in Ansbach, wurde er 1817 Lycealprofessor in Baireuth, wo er 1821 zum Studienrector und zum Kreisschulinspector ernannt ward.
