Catalogue, 1931-32Their aim was to supply within the limits of Philadelphia the need of a College for higher Catholic education.The nucleus Of La Salle College had already been formed in September, 1862, as the Christian Brothers' Academy attached to St. Michael's Parochial School, at 1419 North Second Street.
