I hope I have taken every thing good that there is in Trench, and pret ty much all of Trench is good, I may say the same thing of Dr. Schaft's Christ in Song, and repeat it with more emphasis of Mrs. Charles's Christian Life in Song. There is hardly one of the many hymns translated by her which I have not chosen to put in this collection.
