Excerpt from List of Intercepted Plant Pests, 1964-1970The total number of interceptions submitted during the fiscal year 1964 was as compared with the previous year. This does not include certain common pests which are widespread in this country and are no long e r recorded. This year the list has been cut drastically to omit many pests p r e vion sly included that are now considered to be of little or no plant quarantine significance. Of the total identified during the year, 6, 564 were considered important enough to be reported.
