In Silos resulted in the destruction of all corn borer larvae put therein, led to the suggestion that Similar results mightbe obtained by mixing infested material with manure. This would have been a very simple means of disposal, and, with the possible exception of removing plant remnants from the surface of piles, it would have involved no extra labor on the part of the farmer.
