After years of decline, marijuana use among the young has dramatically increased over the last 4 years. A recent national survey found that the number of 12 to 17-year-olds who smoked marijuana rose from million in 1992 to million in 1994. A 1995 survey found that one in three hi h school seniors had smoked marijuana within the last year, an that among 14 and 15-year-olds the number of recent marijuana users rose a staggering 200 percent from 1992 to 1994.
