But when thin business began, her father's love was turned to half under the in¿uence of his evil geniuses, and she s¿f' fered every manner of insult and persecution from him and his ministers, and even from the servants of the palace. The queen was a vain and silly woman, who used to plot with her children to thwart the king, ml the princess lived in continual fear of both her parents.
