Claims to re serves of land under the l4lb article of the treaty with the Choctaw In dians, of September 27, 1830. You will be associated With the Hon. P. D. Vroom, of New Jersey, and Publius R. R. Pray, Esq., of Mississippi. Your compensation will be a year. I will thank you to signify your acceptance or non-acceptance of this appointment. In the event of your acceptance, instructions for the execution of your duties will be for warded to you by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs.Very respectfully, Your most obedient servant, J. R.
