I wrote this book reflecting 100% actual events that occurred in my life. The story takes place mainly in Ohio while reflecting back to what seems like a life time ago in The San Francisco Bay. The journey is a complete contrast between current events and remembering a much more complicated time of endearment. Tom and Marlene meet, fall in love, and as always in life, the combining of their lives gets complicated. The book was written as if you were watching a movie. Again the scenes change and the location changes but the overall sentiment and love they share stays consistent regardless of the endless emotional hurdles that they have to leap over in order to exist in the complicated society that they both find themselves living in. Sit back in your comfortable chair with your popcorn, but leave the television off. Marlene leaves Tom and he finds himself unable to bear the burden of being without her. This adventure will captivate your imagination while hopefully tug a bit at your heart strings. Make no mistake about this story, regardless of the circumstances, it is our love story and although love is not perfect it does have a way of motivating you to do the things you want to do and the things you don't want to do. As you experience Tom's stupidity, his unfortunate situation, and his eternal drive to win back her heart you will discover for yourself if they were meant to be together, and through their unusual conversations, if they are able to forgive and move on.
