Cheatham moved that the clause of yesterdays minutes granting letters of dismission to Bethel and Hopewell churches, be rescinded. Adopted. Called for report of Executive Board of the Association. Time granted for completion. Bro. Satterwhite read the report on Temperance. After remarks by Satterwhite, Cheatham, Stringer, Catts and Morgan, the report was adopted. Bro. Lloyd read obituary notice of Eld. G. W. McQueen. Adopted. It was resolved that the Moderator and Clerk of this Association, with the deacons and pastor of Steep Creek church, be requested to arrange a formula for memorial services in respect to Eld. G. W. McQueen on the fifth Sunday in this month. Adopted. At 11 a.m., sermon by Bro. J. W. Stewart. Adjourned for dinner. Evening Session. 2 p.m. Devotional exercises by Bro. C. C. Lloyd. Bro. T. E. Morgan read the report on Home and Foreign Missions, and after remarks by Morgan, Stewart and Catts, was adopted.
