Neural Mobilization Techniques For Cervicobrachial Pain Syndrome
Angebote / Angebote:
Neck pain with associated symptoms in the arm, upper back and upper chest with or without an associated head ache is known as cervicobrachial pain syndrome (CBPS). Various treatment methods have been advocated for neurogenic CBPS. Neural tissue mobilization (NTM) was reported to provide better magnitudes of improvement compared to conventional therapies. Usage of Ipsilateral Straight Leg Raise (ISLR) in NTM techniques was also advocated anecdotally to facilitate recovery process in neurogenic CBPS. However no study had
comprehensively explored subjective, neuromechanical and neurophysiological aspects of improvements indicating safety, rate of recovery and recurrence following NTM complementing conventional therapies. Hence this book aimed at determining the relative effectiveness (early and sustainable recovery) of NTM techniques compared to conventional therapy in managing neurogenic cervicobrachial pain syndrome.
