Excerpt from Observations on the Morphology and Life-Cycle of Filaria Recondita GrassiA dog harbouring microfilariae in its general circulation came under the notice of the writer during the last week of December 1921, but unfortunately the dog died soon after and the chance of studying these parasites was lost. This was the first time that the writer found micro filariae in the blood of a dog in the hospital of the Madras Veterinary College. In the month of January 1922, another case of filariasis was found and every opportunity was taken for making observations.
