It must have often come to the verge of its unfolding. He must have often felt the fire of the coming flower. One day, we know not when, but it was a blessed day, a mighty inspiration smote the soul of this youth of the Kentucky Mountains, and out of the silence the seed burst into blossom, on which day he gave the world his lyrical trust.
