*Author is well-regarded in the literary community as well as queer, zine, punk and DIY communities. She served as an editor at Shotgun Magazine and Alt Monthly and was a finalist for the Emerge-Surface-Be Fellowship at the Poetry Project as well as a Teaching Fellowship at Bard College.
