Excerpt from Peach CultureThe great increase of the peach trade is shown by the fact that the shipment from the Peninsula in 1870 was stated at baskets. In the abundant year of 1875 the shipment reached over baskets, and it is estimated that as many, or more, were left on the trees or under them.Among the inventions to facilitate the operations of the peach-grower that have appeared since the first edi tion are Peach Cullers.
