Osteoarthritis has become major concern nowadays. A number of methods have been developed in the last few years which help in treating the osteoarthritis, which includes nonpharmacological, pharmacological and surgical methods. Deformity correction is quantified at the time of correction as it is not acute correction. Gradual deformity correction is done over time by distraction osteogenesis with the help of uniplaner external fixator with good results.
