One advantage of this method is that it may be carried on under circumstances which would render more consecutive study impracticable. Perhaps but few days elapse, even in the busiest stores, when there are not moments which might well be employed in the investigation of some practical question, provided the question is presented. Thus, by the utilization of time, which might otherwise be spent in profitless conversation, the student may develop a capacity for independent investigation and lay the foundation for a thorough and lasting education in pharmacy.
